While you are welcome to have a traditional Korean wedding ceremony and reception, registering your marriage with BDM in Australia would be necessary if you want it recognized here. Therefore, do not register your marriage in Korea. Additionally, submitting the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) to Melbourne Celebrant before your departure to Seoul Korea could help you reduce the one-month waiting period before the ceremony.

Ever wish there was a celebrant guarantee for everyone, including you, family members, and invited friends, to feel friendly and have fun sharing on the wedding day? Recently, Melbourne City Celebrant opened Melbourne Marriage Registration Office in a good location, 5-10 minutes from Melbourne CBD (easy parking). So the couple does not need to wait many months for a ceremony. We can process fast and as early as one month after lodging NOIM.

  1.  We can supply Witnesses (additional witness hiring fee applied) according to the secret ceremony.
  2. Very simple NOIM lodgement process!!! We can do a signing on the ‘Signature of witness box’ on page 4 of the NOIM through the video call or WhatsApp or Kakao in minutes or whatever time suits you.

  3. Studio-type courtroom with photo lighting equipment for professional photography.
  4. The couple will receive their ceremonial script before the ceremony, including the vow exchanges or the words about them.

  5. The simple / Lodgement ceremony with a Registry-type venue starts from $195 plus the NOIM lodgement fee of $175.No news is good news for CitySide residents and those who want a Registry-style ceremony.

In addition, there are many lovely parks and gardens, and indoor event venues in Melbourne’s CBD. We may celebrate the special ceremony, depending on your needs.

Ever wish there was a celebrant guarantee for everyone, including you, family members, and invited friends, to feel friendly and have fun sharing on the wedding day?  Caleb is a Marriage Celebrant Melbourne loving the cultural and religious needs of the couple. He is very popular among the Asian, bicultural, mixed and now orchestrating the local caucasian couples. For this very reason, it is essential to wrap his head around the case of each pair with the cultural connection and understanding so that they do not necessarily spend money and time.

Caleb, the Marriage Celebrant Melbourne, can provide the couple with an Evidence of Notice Letter before the ceremony or Celebrant Letter for visa application after the ceremony. Moreover, as the application for the shortening of time for the ceremony, BDM will generally ask you the first very question why could the couple fail to fill out their NOIM form one month earlier. Suppose you can answer the job offer, medical reason, religious and ceremonial issues. In that case, they may get granted from BDM, for more public servants seem to have become culture vultures over the recent years.

Finding the right place for the venue is easier said than done. For this reason, no more than leaving to some like Caleb, a Melbourne City Celebrant might be a reasonable consideration. He loves bending over backwards to serve the couple, planning for the memorable, simple, intimate and heartfelt ceremony.

Caleb can shed light on finding some lovely parks and gardens in Melbourne City and its surroundings. Particularly a park location with a rotunda may be helpful for both hot and wet seasons.
One of the famous places in CBD is Fitzroy Gardens. Caleb can help  avoiding unnecessary extravagant spending (warning in some places like Conservatory Fountain in Fitzroy Gardens, you have to pay over $500). The only problem is the early bird gets the worm. The right time for the venue is essential for the benefit of the free privilege of the public facilities in Melbourne City.

Ever wish there was a celebrant guarantee for everyone, including you, family members, and invited friends, to feel friendly and have fun sharing on the wedding day? There are few things you can do. To save the one-month waiting time after submitting NOIM (in plain language, I called the wedding ceremony application form), you may submit NOIM to the celebrant with full details of both you and your spouse. Such information like the full names according to the passport and Birthdate is essential. If you need an Evidence of Notice Letter from the celebrant for the Immigration Department’s requirement to sponsor someone overseas or enter the visa requirement, the celebrant will provide it. With the fill-out NOIM, she may go to the Australian Embassy in Seoul. For more information, get in touch with the celebrant.

Yes, you may do so, but you must resubmit the BDM official marriage certificate after receiving it from BDM. Typically, the BDM official marriage certificate arrives in the mailbox 4-5 weeks after receiving the marriage document by the celebrant. For my clients, I submit the marriage document not by mail, but on the fast BDM system on the same day after the wedding. For this reason, my standard charge is inclusive of pre-paid BDM official marriage application and delivery charge to speed up the BDM registration process and dispatch time.

By the marriage act 1961, the couple has to wait one month after submitting NOIM (the wedding ceremony application form) to BDM or the celebrant.  The names of the groom and the bride should are essential and cannot be changed after the submission without a proper explanation. Also, you have a right to apply for Shortening of Time (please read the Legals section on the main menu for more information or get in touch with the celebrant).
